Gregg Ward is a thought leader, speaker, author, consultant, trainer, executive coach, and entrepreneurial business owner. For over 25 years Gregg's focus has been on respect and respectful leadership, and the powerful and measurable benefits that they bring to leaders and their organizations.

As Chief Executive Officer of The Gregg Ward Group, Gregg's extensive client list includes ADP, Booz Allen Hamilton, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Burger King, Ford Motor Company, Harley-Davidson, Intercontinental Hotels Group, Kaiser Permanente, Merck Medco, Qualcomm, The US Navy and Warner Bros Studios, among many others.

Gregg began his work in the mid-1980's as a specialist trainer for the New York City Police Department. Since then he has developed and delivered over 2,000 separate keynote speeches, programs and seminars; facilitated scores of strategic planning sessions and offsite meetings; written numerous books and articles; and coached hundreds of senior executives and managers throughout North America and Western Europe.

In addition to this book, Gregg's publications include articles and opinion pieces in national and international publications and trade journals. His latest book "The Respectful Leader: Seven Ways to Influence Without Intimidation" has landed Gregg in Inc., Forbes, Fast Company, the San Diego Union-Tribune, the Chicago Tribune and Fortune as a guest on WJLA, WRVA, Fox5 San Diego, and Conversations Live. In the past Gregg has been a featured in The Wall Street Journal and The Street and on national Fox News.

Gregg is a Board Certified Coach (BCC) and held the Certified Management Consultant (CMC) credential for over 10 years. He holds a BFA from Boston University and is certified in the leadership assessments FIRO-Business, Workplace Big-5, DISC and The Leadership 360. Formerly an adjunct professor at San Diego State University and Cal State San Marcos, Gregg is currently an Adjunct Coach with The Center for Creative Leadership.
