Joel Schwartzberg

Joel Schwartzberg is a communications coach and writer whose wide range of clients include American Express, Blue Apron, Blue Cross Blue Shield, the Brennan Center for Justice, Comedy Central, the American Jewish Committee, and North Point Ministries. He currently serves as Senior Director of Strategic and Executive Communications for the ASPCA in New York City, and has held senior-level communication and editorial positions with Nickelodeon, PBS, and Time Inc. Interactive.

An expert in the practice of successful presentations and point-making, Joel's articles have appeared in Harvard Business Review, Fast Company, Toastmaster Magazine, and The Huffington Post, and he's been the featured guest on many business and communication podcasts. Joel is also a former public speaking state and national champion who was inducted into the National Forensic Association Hall of Fame in 2002.

Joel is the author of the award-winning book "Get to the Point! Sharpen Your Message and Make Your Words Matter" and the upcoming "The Language of Leadership: How to Engage and Inspire Your Team," and his personal essays have been published in The New York Times Magazine, Newsweek, The New York Daily News, The New York Post, New Jersey Monthly, and several Chicken Soup for the Soul anthologies.
